Health Planning & Management

  • To ensure that all appropriate health services funded through Health Canada programming are delivered at the community level. 
  • Assists and collaborates with the Tribal Administrator and Chief & Council by:
    • Developing annual Work-plan's & budgets for support and/or recommendations on programs and services provided from the Health and Wellness.
    • Communicates regularly with government officials on Work-plan's, budgets and deliverable's and new trends/directions for funding on program services.
    • Informing the Administrator and Chief and Council of any changes/proposed changes and issues pertaining to the Kisipatnahk Health and Wellness.
  • Oversees the operations and coordination of the Kisipatnahk Health and Wellness Department programs by: 
    • Supervising the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of health activities and initiatives for the Louis Bull Tribe
    • Identifying gaps in capacity building and ensures that effective training is provided for all staff to continue in providing program goals & objectives to community members.
    • Strategic planning and forecasting for short- and long-range direction of health with recommendations to the Administrator and Chief and Council.
